BENTONVILLE -- Ridgefield Lane will be reduced to one lane starting at 6 a.m. Monday for construction of a pedestrian tunnel.
Traffic for the Hanover subdivision will be routed to the south side of the road, according to a news release. Traffic will switch to the north side Thursday until the project is completed, according to the release.
Ridgefield Lane is the main entrance to the neighborhood of more than 130 homes. City officials have worked to make sure there can be unrestricted access of emergency services during construction.
The tunnel is expected to be completed by 8 p.m. Friday.
