PEA RIDGE — Jakota Sainsbury threw three first-quarter touchdown passes as Pea Ridge (10-1) rolled over Waldron (5-6).

Waldron was making its first playoff appearance since 2003.

Pea Ridge dropped its final regular-season game to Shiloh Christian last week to end its thoughts of an undefeated season, but the Blackhawks had no trouble with the Bulldogs on Friday. Pea Ridge, the top seed from the 1-4A, will host Hamburg next week in a rematch of the season opener. The Blackhawks defeated Hamburg 50-30 in the season opener at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.

Drew Winn rushed for 141 yards and 2 touchdowns on 6 carries. Sainsbury completed 8 of 11 passes for 194 yards, all in the first half. Jordan Witcher caught two touchdown passes from Sainsbury, while Hayden Holtgrewe had the other. Robby Pickthall added a rushing touchdown.
