Bentonville police investigating two robberies

BENTONVILLE -- Bentonville police are investigating the robberies of two businesses that occurred over the weekend.

The first robbery happened at 1:35 a.m. Saturday at the Kum & Go at 800 S.E. J St., according to a press release from the Bentonville Police Department. The second robbery occurred at 6:38 p.m. Sunday at the Dollar General Store at 2107 S. Walton Blvd., the release says.

The suspect in both robberies was described as a darker-skinned man, wearing dark clothing and a black ski mask with a white skull, according to the release. The suspect told employees during both robberies that he had a gun, but didn't display a weapon, according to police.
