Alma 23, Morrilton 22
Grayson Bailey hauled in a 44-yard touchdown pass from Landon Blair with 2:32 remaining, then the two connected on a two-point conversion pass to keep Alma unbeaten in 5A-West Conference play.
Alma (3-3, 3-0) trailed 14-9 to start the fourth quarter, but Blair hit Tommy Patton with a 3-yard touchdown for a 15-14 lead. Morrilton (2-4), however, regained the lead when Dylan White hit Lamar Wofford with a 27-yard touchdown pass, then Quincy Clemons added the two-point conversion run to make it a 22-15 Devil Dog lead with 3:51 remaining.
Morrilton drove to the Alma 19 and stopped the clock with 3 seconds remaining, but a bobbled snap caused Jesus Arias' 26-yard field-goal try to go under the crossbar as time expired.
Clarksville 62, Huntsville 35
Nicholas Buckner and Jace Donaldson connected for a trio of touchdown passes as Clarksville earned a 5A-West Conference victory over Huntsville.
Buckner completed all five of his pass attempts for 117 yards and three scores -- all of them to Donaldson. Buckner also added 103 yards and a touchdown on the ground as the Panthers (2-4, 1-2) built a 34-15 halftime lead.
Harrison 62, Vilonia 6
Gabe Huskey accounted for four touchdowns in the first half as Harrison rolled to a 5A-West Conference victory at home against Vilonia.
Huskey had a 3-yard touchdown run in the first quarter as the Goblins (6-0, 3-0) built a 24-0 lead, then had a 45-yard touchdown reception from Ben Johnson and touchdown runs of 6 and 69 yards in the second quarter.
Colton Shaver started the scoring with a 33-yard touchdown pass from Johnson, then Thailer Lovell capped the first quarter when he returned an interception 37 yards for the score.
Gentry 35, Green Forest 0
Brandon Atwood threw for three touchdowns and Peyton Wright ran for another to lead Gentry to a 4A-1 Conference win over Green Forest.
Atwood completed 13 of 18 passes for 233 yards, including a 51-yard touchdown pass to Wright. He added a 40-yard touchdown pass to Dylan Kilgore and threw another to Zack Jarnagan, who finished with five catches for 88 yards.
Wright only ran the ball twice, but one of those carries was a 46-yard touchdown run. He also caught a touchdown pass from Jarnagan, while Garrett Hays compiled 21 tackles (5 solo, 16 assists).
Lincoln 41, Berryville 7
Caleb Loyd threw a pair of touchdown passes in the first quarter as Lincoln bounced back with a big win over visiting Berryville.
Loyd hit Levi Wright with a 12-yard touchdown pass, then Sterling Morphis with a 6-yard touchdown pass. The Wolves' lead grew to 28-0 at halftime as Bradley Drain scored on a 2-yard run and offensive lineman Kong Lee recovered a Drain fumble in the end zone.
Christian Sellers and Noe Avellaneda each added a touchdown for Lincoln (5-1, 2-1 4A-1). Berryville (2-4, 0-3) avoided a shutout when backup quarterback J.D. Smith hit Scotland Lucas with a 16-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter.
Pea Ridge 42, Gravette 0
Tate Busey had two long touchdown runs and threw for two more scores as Pea Ridge won its fourth straight game with a rout at Gravette.
Busey hit Brayden Ralph with a 15-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter and a 40-yard touchdown pass that gave the Blackhawks (4-2, 3-0 4A-1) a 29-0 halftime cushion. He also ran 75 yards for a score in the first quarter and forced the running clock when his 79-yard touchdown run made it 35-0 midway through the third quarter.
Busey finished with eight carries for 182 yards and added 88 yards on 7-of-14 passing. Samuel Beard added 98 yards and touchdown runs of 6 and 40 yards on 10 carries.
Elkins 58, Subiaco Academy 12
Quinn McClain passed for two touchdowns and ran for another to lead Elkins to a 4A-4 Conference victory at home over Subiaco.
Chance Jones ran for a pair of scores, while McClain threw two-point conversion passes to Camren Dunn and Cole Willhite and a two-point conversion run as Elkins (6-0, 4-0) built a 30-0 lead after one quarter and led 45-12 at halftime.
McClain completed 9 of 12 passes for 151 yards and five carries for 56 yards, while Jones had 78 yards on eight carries. Backup quarterback Kain Johnson threw a touchdown pass and also scored on a touchdown reception.
Pottsville 42, Waldron 6
Elijah Bradley and Robert Teeter each ran for two touchdowns at Pottsville defeated Waldron in 4A-4 Conference action at Waldron.
Bradley had touchdown runs of 27 and 7 yards, and Konner Carpenter hit Drew Rust with a 74-yard touchdown pass as the Apaches built a 28-0 halftime lead. Ben Jones also ran for a touchdown and added a touchdown pass to Rust for Pottsville.
Waldron's score came on Braden Williams' 27-yard touchdown pass to Isaac Villarreal in the fourth quarter.
Booneville 62, Greenland 34
Greenland played Booneville close for a half, but the Bearcats pulled away in the final two quarters for the 3A-1 Conference win.
Booneville (6-0, 3-0 3A-1) led only 34-27 at halftime, but the Bearcats scored 28 unanswered points to earn the big win.
Carson Ray was one of three Booneville players to rush for more than 100 yards, rumbling for a game-high 144 on only 12 carries and four touchdowns. He also added a receiving touchdown.
Michael Hesson added 106 yards and two touchdowns, while Andrew Robertson added 105 yards on only seven carries as Booneville rolled up 526 yards of total offense, including 395 on the ground.
Evan Schlinker also completes 6 of 7 passes for 131 yards and two touchdowns for the Bearcats.
Greenland quarterback Levi Vaughn threw for 125 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for a score with less than a minute left in the first half to pull the Pirates to within 34-27.
But Booneville scored 28 straight points to take control before Greenland scored with a minute left in the fourth quarter.
Cedarville 58, Paris 23
Cedarville (2-4, 1-2) unleashed its ground game to poll past Paris (0-6, 0-3) in a 3A-1 Conference game.
Kelin Mitchell had 18 carries for 238 yards and Tate Larue had 26 carries 178 yards for the Pirates. Both scored three touchdowns.
Quarterback Dylan Murray was 3 of 4 passing 87 yards and a score.
Lamar 41, West Fork 6
The Warriors rolled to a 28-0 halftime lead and cruised past West Fork in 3A-1 Conference action.
Backup quarterback John Yarbrough scored on a keeper to open the scoring, then Lamar (6-0, 3-0) added three second quarter scores for the big early lead.
In the second half, quarterback Ike Felts fired scoring passes to Caleb Edwards and Brayden Grace.
Lamar hosts Greenland next week.
Magazine 39, Hector 21
Tatum Scott and Caleb Hyatt each scored two second-half touchdowns to help the Rattlers (3-2, 2-0) pull away for the win.
Magazine never trailed and led 12-7 at halftime.
Mountainburg 66, Johnson County Westside 28
Ethan Gregory passed for three touchdowns, ran for one and added a 43-yard pick-six to lead the Dragons.
Gregory was 5 of 6 passing in the win for Mountainburg (5-1, 3-0 2A-4 Conference).
Austin Taylor scored three touchdowns for Mountainburg and Jack Norgaar added a 46-yard interception return.
Mountainburg takes on Western Yell County next week.
Conway 34, Cabot 28 (OT)
Conway didn't mind playing past the fourth quarter for the second time this season.
The Wampus Cats were able to leave Panther Stadium with a come-from-behind 34-28 victory over Cabot.
Senior quarterback Jovoni Johnson's 2-yard run in overtime was the difference for the Wampus Cats.
Johnson finished 12 of 20 for 261 yards with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions. He also rushed for 133 yards and 4 touchdowns on 21 carries.
Conway (5-1, 2-1 7A-Central), which won 48-41 in two overtimes against El Dorado in its season opener Aug. 24, overcame a 21-7 halftime deficit to Cabot. Johnson's 81-yard touchdown pass to senior wide receiver Nick Richmond down the left sideline with 3:57 left tied the game at 28-28.
The Wampus Cats had an opportunity to win the game in regulation, but junior Will Hogue's 43-yard field goal attempt was wide left with one second remaining.
El Dorado 31, Sheridan 17
Alex Hicks ran for two touchdowns and passed for another, and the Wildcats (3-3, 2-1) rallied to defeat the Yellowjackets (1-5, 0-3) in a 6A-West game.
Sheridan led 10-3 in the second quarter before Keyonte Larry's 65-yard run for El Dorado made it 10-10 at halftime.
Sheridan took a 17-10 third-quarter lead, but Hicks took over from there, scoring on a 20-yard run and passing 50 yards to Derek Jobe.
Hicks put the game away on a 15-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
